How to butcher a rabbit

The steps in skinning and cutting up a rabbit:

1.          KILL the rabbit, hit the back of the neck to stun
2.     Slit the rabbit's throat, use any knife as long as it is sharp
3.     Cut head off
4.     Hang it upside down
5.     Cut shallow so it only goes through the first layer of skin
6.     Pull open the fur
7.     Cut around the ankles
8.     Cut around genitalia and anus
9.     Pull fur down and off

1.          Cut through second layer and pull/cut out all intestines, this will look more like a chicken
2.          Take out all organs such as heart and lungs
3.          Break the joints around the feet
4.          Cut off feet where the ball and socket is, cut through where the ball is where it attaches
5.          Break all joints and cut off limbs where ball and socket is
6.         On back feet, cut at the knee and then the thigh, cut all the way through and take off
7.         On front feet, cut it as a whole
8.          Cut off sides, which would be used as bacon if it was a pig, which is the second skin in the abdominal area
9.         Cut off shoulder muscle
10.     Cut off muscle on the back, the loins
11.     Cut off muscle on the ribs
12.     Cut off all connective tissue from the all muscle
13.     Discard organs, liver and heart are edible so you may keep them to eat
14.     Wash off edible pieces
15.     Put in a bag in the fridge
16.     Wash utensils
